What is ServeRemote?

ServeRemote is a way of collaboration. Just as AirBnB and Uber connected those with a home or car to those who needed one temporarily, ServeRemote is connecting those who have different skills with those who need help in those areas, increasing effectiveness in their Great Commission work.

What is the problem?

The problem is that 1/3 of the world remains unreached.

Can the current Christians reach the entire world? Can we be partnership while in our homes when unable to move overseas?

We can reach the world by joining in partnerships. Only a small number of people can go on long-term missions overseas. Perhaps it is family circumstances, life circumstances, capacity, and any number of other things that prevent people from ministry overseas. At ServeRemote we make collaboration with international teams possible.

At ServeRemote we desire to work in partnerships. People around the world can work in collaboration for the great commission. We would like everyone to be engaged in global global missions. ServeRemote is one of the ways we can do that.

Through ServeRemote we can support the work of the 1% that are overseas and aspire to mobilize the 99% who support the 1%.

There are all kinds of benefits from partnership and collaboration. We each have skills and giftings that can be used for the Great Commission. We may see things from different angles, and if we can learn to communicate and take the time to understand what each other’s thinking, and our different cultural insights and world views, we can create better things and work towards a better product. We work towards a better way of engaging people around the world.

By engaging people who are working full-time while volunteering a few hours, we can access different people and different skills all over the world. We can collaborate for the Great Commission. Sometimes people have a skill they would love to use for God’s Kingdom, but they’re not sure how to connect with those who need their skill. ServeRemote allows them to engage in overseas work, working alongside a team to reach those who have never heard of Christ. Perhaps the skill needed is to develop platforms for resources for those who just heard of Jesus Christ. Sometimes it is supporting someone with her accounting or talking to an architect about solutions for their local region.
